TP-Link Archer 7

Hi all, I am having an issue installing and updating my system. When I do, I get the following error:

Command failed: Not found
Command failed: Not found
umount: tmpfs busy - remounted read-only
umount: can't remount tmpfs read-only
umount: proc busy - remounted read-only
Collected errors:
 * copy_file: unable to open `/etc/group-opkg.backup': Read-only file system.
 * file_copy: Failed to copy file /etc/group to /etc/group-opkg.backup.
 * backup_make_backup: Failed to copy /etc/group to /etc/group-opkg.backup
 * opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package base-files.
 * pkg_write_filelist: Failed to open //usr/lib/opkg/info/base-files.list: Read-only file system.

Even after

mount_root

And other mount and remount commands, I cannot get the system to remount as read/write. Anyone have any ideas?

Which router do you have?

Is it an Archer C7? If so, which version?

What OS and version are you running?

What have you installed so far? Was it ever running?

What do you mean by "upgrading"?

I'm guessing that if you're somehow trying to update the system using opkg, you have run out of space.

For many, many reasons, one should never "bulk upgrade" packages. Installing a new, self-consistent ROM and packages is the recommended approach.

TP-Link Archer C7 v4

Open-Wrt SNAPSHOT r11372-2d00cf7515

Luci, Base Packages, Adblock, and yes they all were

I am trying to upgrade all the currently installed packages

So I should just re-flash the router and reinstall packages?

Yes, that is a recommended approach
