TL-WDR3500: Any reason for ar71xx instead of ath79 in 19.07.0?

The dataentry https://openwrt.org/toh/hwdata/tp-link/tp-link_tl-wdr3500_v1 shows 19.07.0 support, but links to ar71xx images instead of ath79.

Is there any reason why one should prefer the ar71xx image over the ath79 image?

there is no ath79 image released, so I linked to the 19.07.0 ar71xx file

from what I understand, there is ath79 support in trunk/snapshot only.

That (unavailability of ath79 image in 19.07) was the reason why the dataentry had not been updated automatically yesterday.
