TL-mr6400 v5 modem only works once

ii have installed openwrt on my router and applied the necessary configuration but it only works once, when i reset the router. if the i powered off the router and then tried to use it again it won't work until i reset it again

What OpenWrt release are you using?

I personally had lot of struggle on latest version of openwrt (22.3) as 4g modem simply doesn’t work properly, would advise to use openwrt 21.02.3, and use the guide… it should work.

Also once everything is done, use watchcat so modem looses connection it can restart by itself.
