Yeah, the 24.10 qualcommax builds appear to be broken right now. The 503 error is strongly suggestive of AI bots doing their DDoS attacks on our git host (again/still).

I saw this error this morning when trying to build a snapshot image for Asus Zenwifi BT8 with Luci - its kind of crucial to add Luci if you want to follow the instructions on how to flash the router.

The snapshot container is broken. https://github.com/openwrt/docker/issues/167 Likely affects all platforms, but the containers haven't yet been rebuilt with the new setup.sh...

EDIT: Should be fixed, we're just waiting for the changes to bubble through.

Hi there, I absolutely do not understand a single shit about how this miracle usally works, however I barely know enough to report that requesting a snapshot for mf286r with custom packages currently does not work. pls fix

See post immediately above yours, it has already been fixed.

Should be fixed now...

Actually, the Unsupported profile: asus_zenwifi-bt8. The requested profile was either dropped or never existed error, is still there - BT8 is a brand new commit - maybe its not been added where it should yet ?

It's fixed, you just have to wait for the next docker build for your version and target to roll through and get the fix in place. Might take a few days, you can monitor them here: https://github.com/openwrt/docker/pkgs/container/imagebuilder/versions?filters[version_type]=tagged

OK, thanks!

:smiling_face_with_tear: Hello friends
Excuse me, can someone tell me if it is possible to activate and start the unbound service using Script to run on first boot (uci-defaults)?
,
Because after removing dnsmasq and adding unbound, it must be activated and started with ssh. Isn't there a solution that starts automatically and doesn't require ssh?

Can I insert the following code into the uci script section of the firmware selector? Will there be any problems?

service unbound enable
service unbound start

source for setup unbound :
Privacy-Protecting Portable Router: Adding DNS-Over-TLS support to OpenWRT (LEDE) with Unbound

Will my problem be solved by inserting this code in uci-defaults?

/etc/init.d/unbound start

No, UCI Defaults only runs on reset/fresh flash. The enable command will work, starting won't (well, only once).

You could try adding to cron.

Flashed latest snapshot (r29144-a947be41b7) this morning and everything seems to function as it should.

Yeah, here's you quick guide:

  • uci-defaults - runs once at firstboot. It's implemented by a bunch of scripts stored in /etc/uci-defaults/*, each is run at boot and deleted when they run successfully. Used to configure the device at initial startup (and never again after that). (If you are using an overlay file system like squashfs, look in /overlay/upper/etc/uci-defaults/ for the original files that were run and deleted from the working filesystem at boot.)

  • rc.local - runs at each boot. The file /etc/rc.local is a shell script that is executed at each bootup, as the last step of the init process (see /etc/init.d/done). Used to execute commands every time the device boots up.

  • cron - runs commands at prescribed intervals (or on certain events if you have a custom build of cron, but that's not the default). Use crontab -e to edit the cron table, or crontab -l to list it. Myriad uses for anything you want to run on a regular basis, for example, updating DNS block lists every night at 0300, doing a config backup once per week, that sort of thing.

I just tried to use it, I'm getting an error "JSON.parse: unexpected end of data at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data" (firefox) or "Failed to execute 'json' on 'Response': Unexpected end of JSON input" (chromium/chrome).
Is anyone else seeing this issue or should I check my local config here at home? And if it's not only me, is there a way to report this?

How nice ...

sorry, I thought the question was obvious.

I have the same issue, it's broken again... It was fine a couple of hours ago.

I hate to be a pain in the ass, but the error is still there (and has passed through many times) :
