Now it is working again. Same packages, with swconfig. Hickup?
It happens when you request a new build, while some packages are rebuilding. The issue can last up to 1-2 hours, I've noticed this several times before. The solution is to just wait, there's really nothing you can do (I've tried with owut as well, same problem).
Thanks for the explanation!
Now I wonder about that design: why aren't the old packages replaced and the package index update is done when the rebuild is done?
Can this also happen to me if I try to install a package with opkg?
Package customization is not working for Xiaomi AX3000T (U-Boot Mod) and 24.10.0-rc6.
Unsupported profile: xiaomi_mi-router-ax3000t-ubootmod
Same error for RT1800 and WAX202 (ramips/mt7621).

Should be fixed, in case you didn't see it: OpenWrt 24.10.0-rc6 - Sixth Release Candidate - #30 by efahl
Let me know if the Unsupported profile:
is still happening.
Thank you @efahl , I can confirm that X86/64 is working via Firmware Selector.
When I pasted in the package list I just had to manually remove libuci20130104 from the list due to the aforementioned issue:
When I requested build, the newer libuci package was added automatically.
Its resolved.
Just a change I noticed, the firmware selector is offering downloads for all versions.
Is this intentional?
If I can offer my 2 cents, the firmware selector is a tool for the general audience, this audience should only have default access to the latest release of each branch.
eg: snapshot, 24.10.0-rc6, 23.05.5, 22.03.7 and so on....
Older service releases should be avoided as they can contain critical bugs (such as 24.10.0-rc3) or security vulnerabilities. They should be used by advanced users only that know what they are doing (the average Joe don't even read shortlog changes).
I also noticed, there are two options for 24.10.0-rc6
Same here, there are two options for 24.10.0-rc7. Is this intentional bug?
There's no model found for Generic x86/64 for 24.10.0-rc7, which impossible to make the package and/or first boot script:
24.10.0-rc7 hasn't finished building for all targets. See what is currently building at https://buildbot.openwrt.org and the finished builds here https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/24.10.0-rc7/targets/
And... it's the weekend again, so we are back to square one:
"Received incorrect version r28735 (requested r28739)"
@efahl I thought this issue has been addressed a while ago.
Update: Seems to be working now.
If it is a supported device, then you will find it.
They haven't finished building all the targets and that is also why there has been no announcement.
If you're in a rush, just install RC7. It's probably almost identical.
Thank you for your answer. It was just a bit unclear to me why it is present in version 24.10.0-rc7 but not in the stable version. In that case, I'll just wait.
rc7 is the stable one look at the changes made after rc7 which seems nothings
you can use rc7 without any issues
