This is a new router now, and since I installed it, sharing between machines on the lan network has stopped working. Everything worked fine with the previous router.
When Windows detects a 'new' network, it will default to the most locked down state and it will assume the network is not trusted (for example, a public wifi network). Therefore, you must go in and modify the firewall settings (on the windows host -- the windows firewall) to tell it that it is a trusted network.
Have you done this?
So I didn't do that and when I look at the firewall settings, I don't have a private network set up and "Síť 3", which is my LAN, is among the public networks, but I don't know where to reset it.
I cannot read that language, and I don't know the details of the Windows firewall.
However, as a temporary test, please turn off the windows firewall on one or both machiens, then run a ping test from one of them to the other that has the fireall disabled.
Thanks for the advice, I'll try to do it tomorrow, good night
