Perhaps this will interests some of the people here. We have build automated test platform to test various wireless adapters. We are not using OpenWRT but plain Armbian / Debian in order to test raw performance (STA mode only ATM). AP is commercial, Zyxel NWA130BE (Wi-Fi 7), and clients are from N to AC and AX, some connected to USB, some PCI, some SDIO.
Yes. But model is separated entity and in front. Which is generally and what we can achieve with this small test infrastructure here - IMO good enough. I am happy to have at least this many of different SoCs, while having many different variants around same SoC ...
Here it also goes that fast, but not always. One of the next steps is to display previous tests and average. Today’s run falls well within the expected range and I recall past max numbers at 950+.
