I just bought a Tenda RX12 Pro v2.0 AX3000 router weeks ago cause I needed to upgrade my old TP-Link 300N AP/Client router. so I was surprised to the specs that meets the OpenWRT system requirements but surprisingly cannot see any mention about it in the Support website, and I wish you our dear Devs to give it a look and a chance to this decent cheap monster to wear our beloved OpenWRT OS.
+++ The Teardown/Internal Photos were shared here if you want to check out what's inside keep the eyes on the 5 Antennas one cause there is two routers there one with 4 antennas which is RX12 standard and other that I'm talking about is Pro version with 5 antennas but they looks same chipset: (https://fccid.io/V7TRX12P2/Internal-Photos/Internal-Photos-1-6976325)
Hi @Brada4 im just new here in the forum and my first post here haha. Sorry for late response... i just don't have that adapter to be honest I'm just a newbie in this hhh. so the issue here is the FW .Bin file is encrypted.... but... i just got the new FW yesterday from the support about this Tenda R12 Pro v2.0 under the name "US_RX12ProV2.0mt_V16.03.49.25_multi_TDE01.bin" from the tenda support human talk. they still didnt post any firmware about this router officially in the website thats why i asked them to give it to me at least through the chat. i mean if u wanna get the eyes on it too and see if u can do something with it... u told me about cudy.... the reason who made me get this tenda was the 5Ghz that has 3R3T at 6dBi for long distance WISP mode... i mean it really takes the full advantage from this chipset of Mediatek MT7981BA... thats why we would love to see this beloved OpenWRT on this router. and yeah how can i send you the file if u wanna get a look on it? is there any private chat or something in this forum?
