Has anyone attempted openwrt on the matching Telenor WiFi repeater II WX3600-T0?
This unit is closely related to the Telenor WiFi router II - Zyxel EX5700-T0 that is supported by OpenWRT thanks to excellent work by bmork. I intend to test his approach with this unit as well.
It is pretty much the same, but an advantage with the EX5700-T0, the 2.5Gbps-ports and more memory.
Please update with your experience on getting it up and running. Or maybe bmork is able to fasilitate a "official build" for it as well? 
Tested the initramfs image from EX5700 through tftp boot now and have it up and running. I have to set up the build environment now, and hope to push something for the community to improve on soon…

Compared to some of the more low price MT7986 variants, the EX5700-T0 and WX3600-T0 are using eFEMs, so on paper better wifi properties.
Someone done a comparison of wifi performance with stock firmware vs. OpenWRT? Think different wifi-drivers are used.
Need to confirm, but stock firmware boot logs hints at 2.5G Ethernet and 1GB ram…
Quick update. Haven’t had to much time but I’ve been able to build a new image by simply copying the relevant Ex5700 bits to a new wx3600 config. Initramfs image boots just fine. Next step is ironing out the details for this particular device.
Worked well enough that I attempted to flash the firmware. Works just fine, needs some work on the leds/buttons and ports. The two ports are 1gig, the reference to 2.5 in the logs was a red herring…
Could anyone point out where I can buy secondhand EX5700 or WX3600?
