How can we make the lantiq xrx200 devices faster For Developers

The Lantiq VRX200 with the combo VRX268|VRX288 with VRX208 (called xrx200 or VR9) chipset from ca. 2013 are normaly used in xDSL-Modem-Router with and without Telefon support. I read here and herethat the chipset have a MIPS 34Kc Architecture with 2 VPEs (Virtual Processing Elements) and 9 Thread Context (TC)s per VPE.
