T-Com Speedport W724v Type a

hello to the forum,

a friend of mine gave me a T-Com Speedport W724v Type a
and i am trying to take a closer look at the device.
But it already fails with the identification of the serial port.
i did not find much information on the net.

the router has got its last firmware in 2020 / 01 and can be bought
in the bay for 10 - 20€. the hardware is not not so bad.

with the NMAP scan it reports itself with gnu/linux mips, the release
was 2013 / 06 and there should be drivers for the components.

has anyone had a closer look at the router or has it failed like me?
