@robimarko
I have interest to helping you. What I have to do?
I have 2 x CPE210 HW.2.0 (one LAN Port) here and can open and iron serial to them.
I can make them online accessible. May this help?
Or is there more then I can do?
I a linux pro but a embedded@lowlevel newbie, so I need some advice.
I have one that I work on,thanks for the offer but that is not needed.
Until I or someone else finds out a way to properly bypass wmac reference clock check CPE210 v2 wont be merged into LEDE.
What about the newest changes in https://github.com/robimarko/source/commits/CPE210-v2-unified? Do they fix the clock?
Those are more proper fix for it by Sven Eckelmann.
I have built new images but they are not tested so that is why I did not post them.
If you have serial console connected for debugging reply in PM and I will send you those
is there any chance that those patches will end up in OpenWRT 18.06?
Sure,but no one can guarantee it
@robimarko, do you know how to revert to stock firmware on this thing? Do TFTP flash still not possible as the v1.1?
Or do you have any suggestion as for changing the MAC address? I need it because the public wifi subscription that I use is using MAC Address to identify authorized devices, and my old device is bricked now.
You can simply overide the MAC adress from LuCi.
And TFTP recovery works
The version 18.06.2 of open wrt has support for CPE210 v2. What about CPE510 v2, they are quite similar, can the same binary be used on the 510?
