Support for TP Link Archer AX58 / AX3000?

Hi everyone!

I'm new this openwrt world, I juste discovered today after seeing tp link charge way to much for parent control... And it looks amazing!

I have the new AX58, I couldn't find it in the list of device so I heard about snapshot. I had questions :

  1. Can I instal anyway one the the firmware a similar device ?
  2. If it fail, it is hard to boot up the factory firmware? Does it kill warranty?
  3. If there is not similar product, is there a generic firmware to boot on to access it?

I wish merry Xmas, stay safe and thank you for the info! :christmas_tree::slight_smile:

Try to write down model name completely, google says nothing like that even exists.
your arrogance will not change the fact that no broadcom wifi6 is supported by opem source drivers.

  1. No
  2. Perhaps, and ask the manufacturer
  3. No

My arrogance ?

I didn’t seem to be disrespectful with what I asked…

As I told, I don’t know anything about wrt so I did not know about WiFi 6 support.

Model was : https://www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-ax58/#specifications

But you found it.

It is https://www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-ax58/#specifications

Thanks for the help

Thank you for your answer, you are the only one really replying!
