Hello, I'm using this 24.10.5 version, and it seems really stable. However, can we support kmod-wireguard? I couldn't install netbird on this router.... Likely there are another ways to install except rebuild the kernel...
@sshel a new version 25.12.2 is released with lot of wifi fixes. Could you please upload the same for MR9000 on your website?
It has been uploaded. Thank you very much.@sshel
@RolandoMagico Thanks for the help so far. Sorry to be a little pushy but how and when do the changes get merged to the mainstream repo? Can we expect official support in the subsequent release? i.e. 25.12.3
Based on my experience with other devices, it’s quite hard to tell when it will get merged. The PR is currently in draft state, hopefully it can be switched to ready next week.
After the PRs for the BDF and the device are done, additional PRs are required for 25.10.
To be honest, I don’t expect it to be included in the next 25.10 release.
Is there a specific reason why you are asking?
There is no specific reason other than the fact that MR9000 being a WiFi 5 device will most likely be obsolete very soon. Keeping all the efforts from you and @reka in mind it would be really great to have the official support sooner than later. But as you mentioned it is not in anyone's control.
PRs for the BDF is pending for a very long time. Is there a way to expedite it?
We tested the state of the PR successfully and I switched the PR to ready for review.
@reka: Thanks for testing the images.
