I can do this. I just add a link to the WR3000S procedure.
lol ... there is no WR3000P page? ![]()
Optional. If my PR is accepted (that one you mentioned for WR30000H was closed in a favour of mine, which includes all Cudy WR3000x variants), there will be 2 variants of firmware - regular squashfs, with 44 mb free and ubootmod with 95 mb free. Right now we have only the first variant.
Nope unfortunately. If the ubootmod PR is accepted, I'm going to create this page as well. (Sounds like a demand, but it's not
)
This should be well described in wiki. Otherwise one would have some surprise while flashing.
Create it anyway. Each device should have its page, despite infos will almost be identical to other Cudy WR3000x devices.
hwdata could in theory point to one ToH wiki page, it's been done before.
Good thing - there's a very big red warning with "Force" checkbox in UI when you try to flash different/incompatible type.
In case anyone wants to disable the WAN LED from the RTL8221B, the command is mdio mdio-bus 6:0x1f 0xd044 0x4089 (enable with mdio mdio-bus 6:0x1f 0xd044 0x40f9)
apparently there are well know issues between USB3 & 2.4GHz interference
Edit: you may (or may not) find this review about Realtek USB wifi devices & OpenWRT interesting & informative
Has anyone observed the WAN port renegotiate from 1 Gbps to 100 Mbps?
I've been attempting to get a log of the behavior.

(Since the cabling has worked for over 10 years, until I installed the WR3000P, I'm cautious, especially since I have no easy way to check or replace the cable. I even had a WR3000H previously installed, no issue.)
