Is anyone experiencing issues with configuring STA+AP on 5.4 GHz using DFS channels on 25.12.0-rc1?
hostapd: handle_probe_req: send failed
Along with DFS-CAC-COMPLETED and DFS -> ENABLED, but followed by DFS-PRE-CAC-EXPIRED.
(I recall this occurred in the past - issue 9298.)

I guess this post is missing device (especially wlan-) information
(but yes, I'm seeing similar behaviour on (x86_64) main snapshots with mt7921 and mt7921au), which I'm still trying to get hold of).

Don't mark it solved, yet (it probably isn't for you - and I have bigger fish to fry, before I could debug/ bisect/ report this issue).
Just to add some substance for my experience (on x86_64 and mt7921au/ mt7921), last known-good r30767-d0c64a162a - known-broken current main/ HEAD (e.g. r32355-caef0a839a).
Same error on my Cudy WR3000H (mt7976cn) running on 25.12.0-rc1. I'm receiving this issue constantly every 30-60s.

Same error
But are you having the same issue?
STA + APs don't work?
I can't confirm it not working. The WR3000H operates as a mesh node, and I can connect to it successfully. Wi-Fi therefore appears to be functional, although it is generating error messages.

As rc2 was released, could you tell if the error was addressed? I quickly screened the changelog but I couldn't find this issue being possibly addressed. Maybe opening an issue on Github would make sense - if not already done.

As rc2 was released
No announcement in https://forum.openwrt.org/c/announcements/14 .
It's not out, yet.
I can select it from my router as an updated, this is why I called it "released". Sorry if that was inaccurate.
The issue still persists in 25.12.0-rc2. To be clear (before anyone asks), the upstream is a 160 MHz channel. so aside from the congested band, I cannot use another channel in my radio domain. WAX202.

The STA connects, but the APs never come up. Last working was version 24.

Still any issue using 25.12.0-rc3.

Seems to be working as of e94d4f2022
COMFAST CF-WR632AX
File on github if it breaks again.
@Robus What country code are you using?
IN and US are known to experience the issue.
(Removed solution checkmark.)
anon63541380:

(Still broken here.)
I understand there have been issues filed.
All the wifi settings are posted in this issue. https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/issues/21494
I will wait for the next rc to test as I'm not close to the router and updating to a snapshot feels a little too risky.

I experienced the issue previously, but it seems to now be working with the current snapshot. I experienced some instability but that might be an issue with my other configs. The above config is able to pull around 400Mbps on the CF-WR632AX.
You're not running the 25.12.0 release candidates. I'll test SNAPSHOT when I have an opportunity.
