is it bonjour or mdnsresponder that does that?
@mj5030 - Thanks for these measurements! I don't see any significant difference between the three - makes me think that the powerline adapters (at least TP-Link AV500 Nano Kit (TL-PA4010KIT)) seem to keep latency pretty low (they don't get the full speed of the direct connection, though.)
No problem. My network setup has changed quite a bit in the past 6 months. They worked well for me though when the router and modem were far away from my gaming device. Especially, during certain times of the day when the 2.4ghz band was being highly used by neighbouring wireless devices and performance was affected from interference.
