i am trying to configure split tunneling for twitter. govt is blocking twitter every few days, which is very annoying, have a subscription to a well-renowed vpn that gives wiregaurd config files. i am using pbr for policy base split tunneling. it works for most sites but twitter.com doesn't load properly (pics etc are missing) , as in there are other domains that need to be tunneled through vpn. how can i find all the domains that need to be tunneled?
before anyone asks, yes i know i can use vpn software for the whole device, but i have 8 people living in my house, so it is much easier for me to just set it up on the router with wiregaurd and pbr.
You can use Policy Based Routing to achieve this -- specify twitter and/or any other traffic that needs to go through the tunnel, and the rest to go via your regular wan.
yes that much i have already configured, but pics and videos are still not loading.
As a test, it might make sense to try pushing all traffic through the tunnel -- just to ensure that images load as expected...
Then, on a desktop class browser -- check the domains from which the images are being served... it's likely you need to add those to the policies.
