I have a script that scans the log files and black holes the IP addresses, but some months there's a huge tidal wave of traffic that uses up my (4 TBytes) of traffic and the server gets shut off. This month was one instance - 90% of my limit was used up by 6 Jan, so I shut off the netperf server.
