Sophos AP55C can't stop autoboot

Hello everyone,
I need help installing a Sophos AP55C with OpenWRT. The instructions work fine with a Sophos AP55.
For the AP55C I am using a USB 3.3V serial UART adapter and Putty. The display works fine but the system does not accept my keystrokes.

I have a Sophos SG installed and can access the AP through it.

Is there a way to reset the AP55C?

If your input isn't registered at any stage (bootloader, failsafe environment, fully booted up), you might need to check if the vendor actively broke the rx line (missing 0-ohm resistor, pulling rx down to ground), quite a few vendors like doing so.
