Some devices not connecting after 25.12 upgrade

Hi All,

I have upgraded my Linksys WRT3200ACM to 25.12 and now no matter what i do my smart bulb do now want to connect anymore. They appear as “associated” but they are not getting any IP addresses. Reverting to 24.x resolves the issue.

Is there anything that can be done to adjust 25.12 to older IoT devices?

I have tried to turn on off all setting available via web interface for that SSID like WMM mode, shot preamble, multi to unicast and more. Nothing seems to help.

I see that this is related to WPA3 and 802.11r Fast Transition. I don’t have any of these enabled.

This requires legacy checkbox

Thanks for pointing to that. On 24.x i did not have “Allow legacy 802.11b rates” checked and only with WMM off on that SSID the light bulbs were able to get IP address. As soon as enabled WMM (no matter if checkbox was on or off) the bulbs were behaving like now, meaning that they are associated but not getting IP.

Anyway i have tried enable checkbox but still no luck with getting IPs on bulbs :-/
