(Solved) WNDR4300 Extra flash space

I am using a Netgear WNDR4300 and have put the 17.01 final on the system. I have noticed that i can not access all of the available 128 mb of flash. Any ideas why this might happen? I know for WW-DRT i had to enable JFFS to allow it. I was not able to see documentation to do the same with LEDE. Any help is much appreciated.

Never mind found all the info in the guides on added disk space. Took some digging to get it to work fully.

Please be aware that f2fstools on ar71xx before version 1.8.0 are known to cause corruption.

How do you update to 1.8 I do not see it listed as upgradable or listed.

also please check this, if you want another way to extend /overlay or just to have more information about this specifically https://bugs.lede-project.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=146#comment2165
have a nice day

edit: also the trunk builds for f2fs-tools are currently on version 1.8.0-1:

Package Version Size (.ipk) Description
f2fs-tools 1.8.0-1 7705 Tools for Flash-Friendly File System (F2FS)

to update the package you just have to run: opkg update;opkg install f2fs-tools
to see what version you have just run: opkg list-installed | grep f2fs-tools

i think diizzy was just trying to warn you to be careful if you were planning to use f2fs-tools for anything
