[SOLVED] Upgrade a custom-made image previously compiled without IPv6 to operating IPv6 image

Hello!

I have a previously compiled version 21.07.2, in which I turned off IPv6 completely (and saved the configs in files folder before compiling), but recently I thought it better to use IPv6 as well. My config files are completely missing the IPv6 related config parts, even though I compiled an image with IPv6 enabled in the meantime, because the image was built with the previous config.
My question is, is it easier to add the IPv6-only config parts to my config files manually afterwards (in this case, which files should I access and what are the config parts?) or to compile an image from scratch without the old config and set the whole thing according to the prveious configs?

Hi @zsolti

depends on your setup, how many things you added after initial install
but ...
in very basic config, 3 files have IPv6 entries

network
firewall
dhcp
