"[SOLVED]" Traffic Control on Snapshot version Openwrt

Hi Everyone,

I have tried installing Traffic Control package on a Snapshot version of OpenWRT but while installing that package using the command " opkg upgrade tc" I am getting an error as follows:

Collected errors:

  • satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for tc:
  •  kernel (= 4.9.127-1-01d03f01348999520673f4931cedaac3) *

I need to install that package without changing my firmware due to the configuration I have set, if anyone knows how can I resolve that please let me know asap.

Did you try --force-depends?

No. If you don’t mind can you please tell me how can I do that?

OK, you have this quote:

  • This means you ran opkg from the command line
  • Simply add --force-depends to the opkg command
  • Done!

Hope this works.
