[Solved] Sophos AP55: No 5G wifi after upgrade

Hello,
while tidying up my shelves and cabinets i found a nearly forgotten Sophos AP55.
A quick check revealed that it was still running OpenWrt 22.03. So i decided to upgrade it to 25.12.1.
But after the upgrade the 5G wifi was vanished. In the Status overview there was only the 2.4G radio.
O.K, i thought and reflashed the device with the old image. Unfortunately radio 1 is still missing.
After connecting the serial and a restart i found the following warning from the U-Boot:

U-Boot 1.1.4-gb47de1b6 (Jan 24 2017 - 11:22:47)

So i assume, the missing 5G wifi module is the mentioned PCIe WLAN module that’s not been found.
My question is: Might this be still a configuration error or died some hardware just at the same time while i did the upgrade (thank you, Murphy)?

U-Boot starts before OpenWRT, you can't misconfigure OpenWRT to make U-Boot not find the module.

I thought so too, but it doesn't hurt to ask if one isn't sure.

So this seems to be another piece for the recycling bin - a 2.4G only AP isn't really useful for me.

Would be great for IoT though.

I dismantled and dumped it.
