[Solved]Setting Up OpenWrt Router to be Main Router

I’ve just called my ISP to put my modem into bridge mode so I can connect my openwrt router and use that as my main router. Can i get a guide on how to set up the wifi on the router and everything.

Which router is that?

Use ssh to connect to the device.

Then run the command ubus call system board and paste here the output. Please use the "Preformatted text </>" button for logs, scripts, configs and general console output.

Do you know the wan protocol that is used? Most popular ones are DHCP or PPPoE.
Regarding wifi, it is disabled by default, so you'll need to enable it and apply WPA2 encryption and a key for that, because the default is without encryption.

So there’s a cable from the wan port of my router connected to one of the ethernet cable of my pc? Right now the protocol for wan is dchp. When i’m setting up the wifi do I use wan as the firewall zone?

The cable from wan port of the router will connect to the modem.
Another cable from lan port of the router connects to the PC.
DHCP is the default protocol. No need to change anything there or the firewall. Just enable and configure the wifi.
