The range 172.16.0.0/12 is also private and cannot be reached from the internet.
You should contact your ISP and ask if they can provide you a public IP address.
If this is not possible then your only option is to buy a VPS and install a VPN server there.

Unfortunately, yes, 172.16.0.0-172.31.255.255.
Actually, I have a similar problem and have to use VPN via VPS to reach my home network.
