In Luci interface, some entries require a "return" (e.g., when entering a static lease under DHCP for a specific device) when entering an ip address as "-- custom --", which is unable to be accomplished when on a mobile device. As I do troubleshooting/configuration updates from my mobile phone, it is not possible to enter such information from the phone. It would be nice if Luci could either accept the value as entered without requiring an "enter"/"return" after entry, or include a button for "accepting" the input.
Just curious, since I tested in order to understand the issue you're experiencing - does your phone allow you to press the return button?
I've tested on a few mobile devices, and I'm able to enter an address in the IP field when creating a static entry.
You need like hacker or unexpected keyboard to distinguish
I downloaded unexpected keyboard and it works brilliantly.
I had hacker keyboard and the enter did not work for me.Seeing your reply I searched online and found for hacker keyboard that it requires a shift-enter and not just the enter key.
Thanks for informing me about unexpected keyboard which prompted me to see how to make it work with Hacker Keyboard.
Cheers,
B.D.
