anyone create a luci app that would upload a modified bootloader like breed?

Considering that

  • The U-Boot partition is generally intentionally locked for write
  • LuCI is targeted at inexpert users for "everyday" tasks
  • Boot-loader changes can hard-brick a router
  • Boot-loader flashing that fails can hard-brick a router
  • Breed, in particular, does not appear to publish source code and likely violates copyright law

why would it be even a remotely sane idea to make a one-click "brick my router" app?

it can happen either way, but copyright laws i understand that.
