[Solved] INACCESIBLE AFTER CHANGING IP ADDRESS: TP-Link Archer C-25

Ok... I rectify ... after trying different times ... once found the router in 192.168.1.1, but it appeared as inactive and it was impossible to wake up or connect with it ...

On no other occasion i could find it.

so its solved?

No... it isn't solved.

The instructions on the failsafe page state to use TELNET; but after version 15, it should be SSH.

  • Assign a static IP to your device (e.g. 192.168.1.12)
  • Ping 192.168.1.1 until you see a response
  • Immediately attempt to connect via SSH to 192.168.1.1

Hope this helps.

Thank youu, lleachii!!! This solves my troubles... at last I was able to connect to the router.

Anyway, and without knowing if I'm right for all cases, I think that the new tp-link routers (those with the new logo) do not enter the recovery mode with reset + power on... (for example, this happens in the 841n vers 13 and in the Archer C25).

This thread is solved.
