Hello,
I've installed version 1.15.39 from http://www.cudytech.com/openwrt_software_download but I get an error when I try to install the downloaded version of openwrt (version 23.05) from advanced settings --> firmware.
I get the error "File is invalid".
Thanks,

Yes. The steps I have followed are the ones described in the installation section.
Thank you for your response.
post a screen shot of the error.

The last part of the log show the next lines:
Sat Dec 2 08:53:26 2023 daemon.err uhttpd[2461]: lede: not fit firmware
Sat Dec 2 08:53:26 2023 daemon.err uhttpd[2461]: lede: firmware format error
the file in Cudys X6 v2 openwrt ZIP is called openwrt-22.03-ramips-mt7621-cudy_x6v2-squashfs-flash.bin
, it doesn't match the screen shot you posted...
you need to perform two flashes, 1st using the cudy openwrt image, then another one using the "real" openwrt image.

I've downloaded the file from https://openwrt.org/toh/cudy/x6 . The file is with bin extension, not a zip. I haven't change the name of the file.
First I flash the firmware downloaded from http://www.cudytech.com/openwrt_software_download (1.15.39) (installed correctly) and then firmware with the bin file downloaded from https://openwrt.org/toh/cudy/x6 . This second step fails.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Make sure you use a computer, or at least browser in desktop mode, then you browse the site, the content will change.
1.15.39, is not the file/fw you want, the filename should be x6-v2.zip, or similar.

IHER3:
(1.15.39)
The correct CudyTech file is openwrt-22.03-ramips-mt7621-cudy_x6v2-squashfs-flash.bin
from X6+V2.zip
.
After flashing its LuCI GUI looks much more like the standard OpenWrt interface, no round icons, etc.
It will then allow you to flash any OpenWrt image using "Backup/Flash firmware".

I'm sorry. I'm stupid.
In my first step I just upgraded the base firmware from version 1.14 to 1.15. I thought the urls were the same:
.../openwrt_software_download
.../x6_software_download
The openwrt firmware has been successfully flashed to version 23.05.
Thanks for your patience.
