Yes. And I would expect this to happen on any/all routing platforms. OpenVPN is pushing a route that overlaps the lan, so the addressing causes a conflict. From the router's perspective, someone else has that same address... routing will fail, but so will local access to the router because it's not possible to have two devices with the same address.
