[Solved] DNS Settings for router internal internet access

I have setup internal dns servers and configured dhcp on my router to advertise them. I also set DNS listen port in dnsmasq on my router to 0 as I was told this will turn the dns portion of dnsmasq off. Now I am unable to update opkg or do nslookup. I get this:

;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

nslookup: write to '127.0.0.1': Connection refused
nslookup: write to '::1': Connection refused

What am i missing?

Thanks!

Temp populate /etc/resolv.conf

i just found that same advice, thanks..working now
