If you want to install openwrt, it's not the way it's supposed to be done - https://git.openwrt.org/?p=openwrt/openwrt.git;a=commit;h=31952dbd1c40a2cd015ef435bd64fa9b2bb87eec

it says:
Flash instruction: Original firmware is based on OpenWrt. Use sysupgrade image directly in vendor GUI.
which means i have to use their web interface?
so i did but now i have diffrent problem there is no newer firmware than openwrt 19 :frowning:
How do i make fimware for verison 21 ?

this device probably haven't been converted from ar71xx to ath79, hence no new fw.

so there is nothing i can do , but just wait till firmware comes out?
how about if i use just deffrent firmware like for CF-E375 or somthing like that?

there won't be one, unless someone put some time in.

if you like high tech paper weights, then go ahead.

(read: no, you can't)

Got it thank a lot .

but is there a way i can do this myself?(making new firmware (compiling etc?))

not sure how much "hacking" is involved though, you (probably) need to migrate your device from the old ath kmod to the new one, which is probably quite easy.

once you can confirm it's working using ath79, image building will probably get enabled again.

might want to create a new thread about the conversion in https://forum.openwrt.org/c/devel/8

are you being ironic about easieness?

it all depends on your experience, doesn't it ?

you'll need to get your hands dirty, or if you can get someone to build an ath79
based image for you, for testing purposes.

read https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/installation/ar71xx.to.ath79
and Porting guide ar71xx to ath79?
