I been using squid caching proxy for few weeks now on my openwrt(installed in desktop). However, I am not satisfied on its Web based reporting tool (squid-mod-cachemgr). Any recommended 3rd party squid log analysis report generator that is compatible to openwrt?
I'd recommend sending your logs to a more complete OS or at least processing them on a more complete OS that supports either or both your choice of scripting languages and third-party log analysis tools.
I tried to install SARG in an ubuntu vm then imports the access.log from openwrt box. and it works! I was able to see the reports. Many thanks jeff.
