Just did a factory refresh and now I can't do a software update. Any ideas? I've tried pointing my DNS to 8.8.8.8 like I've seen in other posts with no luck. Thanks.
I am running OpenWrt 22.03.0-rc5 r19523-bfd070e7fa / LuCI openwrt-22.03 branch git-22.167.28394-8a4486a

The first things to check, would be making sure that DNS and gateway are configured correctly (if you opt not to use DHCP or PPPoE; you having overriden the DNS server might point into a problem in that general direction).
What is upstream of your OpenWrt router? Is it another router? A cable/dsl/cellular modem or ONT? Does a client connected to the OpenWrt router have internet connectivity?
I have an AT&T Fiber Router upstream in IP Passthrough Mode. I can get on the internet no issue it's just updating OpenWRT. I can't pint ping downloads.openwrt.org or google through the router.
So I downgraded the firmware to see if it would work. It did not, so I figured I would put it back to the firmware I just downgraded from. Magically it worked again. No clue why.
