I am trying to install snort on router but have issues with the configuration, I have followed these instructions from Openwrt wiki
opkg update #update repo
opkg install snort #install snort
vi /etc/config/snort #Choose interface and config file
vi /etc/snort/snort.conf #Setup snort config file
/etc/init.d/snort enable #Run snort @ startup
/etc/init.d/snort start #Start snort now
but it does not work. I have added the community rules to the suggested folder and all I get is the following response, what could I be doing wrong. Thanks in advance for all guidance greatly appreciated
