SNMPD not working in 18.06.1

Hello,

I have installed "snmpd" package in 2 routers with last version (18.06.1). And it doesn't work.

In previous version it just work out of the box, just install the package, reboot the router and a simple snmpwalk command could get information:

snmpwalk -v2c -c public routerIP

Is there any change in the configuration that I need to apply?

  • Perhaps, you have to enable it?
  • Have you tried the localhost IPs?

I installed snmp-utils and execute the command:

It look that there is no MIB file, is this a dependency problem?

I installed snmp-mibs packages, then reboot the device. And it works!
