SKW92A firmware bug [Solved]

Hi All!

I bought this chip modul SKW92A (MT7628) and uploaded this OpenWRT firmware with TTL mode, BUT always restart in boot end. I see this patch and applied, BUT nothing. I tried old and new and different firmware, BUT nothing.
What is the solution then work fines?

Thank you for your help me!

Regards!

What firmware(s), exactly. What shows up on the serial console before it reboots. That patch was merged a long time ago (November-ish).

Please provide the boot log

I tried this (MT7628) and this (SKW92A) firmware, boot say no error, but after restart. Here the boot screen:

Thank you!

How about a full boot log from power on? If you are using GNU screen for a serial console, you can turn on window logging with Ctrl-a H. The capture will got to screenlog.0 (or .n, where n is the window number).

Sorry, here is the SKW92A uploaded firmware log:

Thank you!

I think there is an external watchdog chip that triggers reset

Then this model trash?

You may want to ask the person who added its support

I writed many messages and e-mails to the skylab, but didn't answer.
Therefore I writed in here Openwrt forum, maybe I get help from somebody.

To skylab (the manufacturer)? I don't think it will provide OpenWrt support
Did you even understand my statement?

Fwiw, I submitted the support patch, but we abandoned it for the project we were going to use it for, so I don't have one running at the moment. It was working fine for me back in November. I'm afraid I don't have time to pursue it at the moment.

I found MT76 driver bug: When load wifi driver after reboot, but if doesen't load all ok.
And now what I do?
