SITECOM wl361 battery powered device , successfully flashed with engenius esr-9753 firmware

Hi, unfortunately i miss time to ask for edition permission on the wiki to create on page, I was able by gathering infos on DD-WRT forums and here to successfully flash my sitecom WL-361 (old battery powered router with usb port and one ethernet port) with the openwrt firmware of the engenius esr-9753

grab the firmware here :

the instructions of this router are quite valid :

basic principle being setting a ethernet cable between the router and your computer and to set a tftp server on your computer serving the file. then you have to hook a usb to serial (3.3v) adapter and connect to the header on the bottom right 4 pins header of the main boad (sitting at the right of the usb port if you face the side with usb port and ethernet port).
pinout from top to bottom of header :
VCC 3.3V (pointed by the arrow)
GND
TX
RX
the keystroke is not working with all serial terminal emulators, i had luck with putty, while booting, you shall strike the number 2 (without pressing enter after ) , then strike y for yes, then you set the ip' address of the device as prompted , then of the tftp server

mind that there is only one wan port so openwrt will see it as a wan port and wont let you access on the first boot , so its important to first log via serial to enable the wifi in the /etc/config/wireless , setting the ""option disabled to 0"

note that the serial speed is 57600 8N1.

maybe i ll get time one day to convert this to a wiki page, in the mean time if this can help somehow for people wanting to convert old material and give a second life...
thanks to all openwrt participants to make this kind of material recycling possible
