Has anyone tried to install OpenWrt on "Singtel WiFi Gigabit router AC plus"
tried would imply it's supported by openwrt, which it isn't.
It is broadcom SoC, not well supported by open source drivers.

i.e slow wifi if it works at all after a year or so of YOU intensively programming support.

Broadcom BCM%04x 802.11 Wireless Controller 7.14.170.36 (r766663)
Thanks. If I may ask, how/where did you find that, its a Broadcom SoC.
I extracted firmware trx file downloaded from your provider using binwalk
tool, then looked into files inside for anything that would indicate totally incompatible hardware, just to save your time trying or hoping.
thanks, I'm new to OpenWrt and was trying to exploring it using the old router I had lying around. :).
Let me try to find a similar details for Air 4920 router.
which one?
Not sure why, but Airties "Air 4920" is not showing up there.
not sure where "up there" is, but it's Broadcom based, just as your Singtel device.
you would have known this, if you had searched the forum.
Up there -> Singtel Firmware download page link in your earlier response.
Yes, I did find a thread in this forum talking about it and I was trying to find an answer from it. It seems to be not supported as you mentioned.
But if I can trouble you once again, did you determine its Broadcom based from the FCCID link you provided in the response or how?
yes, just look at the internal photos ...
