PLEASE Forgive this stupid question, I've seen the answer posted somewhere ages ago, but I can't find it again.
All I am looking for is information about release cycles. Just an estimate of how often a major release might occur with OpenWRT. It's that simple.
v22 came 2022
v23 came 2023
v24 ... you do the math.

But it probably is possible that there will not be a v24 just like there is no v20 
I agree, it might slip into 2025.
