This a real shot in the dark as a last ditch attempt to find out what is going on. It's likely nothing to do with OpenWRT but community might have ideas.
I have several devices running Tasmota using either Emulated Hue or Wemo Plug modes enabled. And if I use Alexa to discover. They are found and work fine. But after a few hours later they mysteriously vanish from my account.
I'm curious if something needs to be checked on my LAN on my OpenWRT. I don't really see why they would get purged and Amazon are as useful as a chocolate teapot telling me to reinstall the app over and over.
If anyone has any ideas please don't hesistate to chime in. I realise this very well may not have anything to do with OpenWRT..

My experience with Amazon leads me to presume whatever issues your are having with their devices are 99% their responsibility or the responsibility of the skills programmer (3rd Party manufacture) for any Alexa skills that aren’t up to par with your expectations. I say this as a current user, myself.
If you are relying on an Alexa skill for this functionality, go back to it in your Alexa app and check the reviews of the skill. Try unlinking and relinking the skill if no users are reporting similar behavior. Also try looking for an alternative skill that can provide the same feature/s.
If you’re not using a skill to provide the functionality, it could fall on the 1% scenario where the issue lies with the 3rd Party’s poor implementation into generic Alexa integration (which I find as a rare scenario).
