This is a recent patch on x-wrt, which is a fork of openwrt. I am not sure how different it is from mainline, but it could be worth a shot applying the patch and starting dev. of Opal support again.
The patch is ref. to the GSW150/PEB7084 switch. This was the last component needed to support the Opal, I think. Since the SiFlower chip support was already pushed to main late last year.
What do you guys think?
