Hi i bought the G-010S-A Gpon stick it has an openWrt its a Fiber optic module, I'm trying to configure , first i copied my SN from my ISP router to the module it showed it registered,it gave 05/true and Vlan ID the thing is when i connect it on my router innboxu92 SFP port and configure layer2 interface and Wan connection I'm not geting internet ip it just shows status pppoe 0.1 Connecting .
first thing i noticed the router ip is 192.168.1.1 and the SFP is 192.168.1.10 but the defult getway of SFP is 192.168.2.1 by default do i need to change it to match router? And number 2 i have option on Gpon Vlan , do i need to check the box to be transplant ? Number 3 do i need to reset omcid option button ) please anyone worked with this Gpon stick advice me what to do!!!
It appears you are using firmware that is not from the official OpenWrt project.
When using forks/offshoots/vendor-specific builds that are "based on OpenWrt", there may be many differences compared to the official versions (hosted by OpenWrt.org). Some of these customizations may fundamentally change the way that OpenWrt works. You might need help from people with specific/specialized knowledge about the firmware you are using, so it is possible that advice you get here may not be useful.
Ask for help from the maintainer(s) or user community of the specific firmware that you are using.
Provide the source code for the firmware so that users on this forum can understand how your firmware works (OpenWrt forum users are volunteers, so somebody might look at the code if they have time and are interested in your issue).
If you believe that this specific issue is common to generic/official OpenWrt and/or the maintainers of your build have indicated as such, please feel free to clarify.
I have a host converter that the SFP can be pluged my problem the RX light is on but TX line is off it might be OMCID profile need to be cleared? I think I'm not geting an ip because the TX signal is off , ill try to activate the vlan transparent and if isnt working ill clear the OMCID so it download the profile from OLT isp with correct configuration maybe it fixes the tx and it start showing signals. , any advice?
