'setenv' command is not found in AP3805i shell

Unable to configure U-Boot 1.2.0.03 (Sep 4 2014) using the 'setenv' command below:

  1. Configure U-Boot for booting OpenWrt from ram and flash:
    $ setenv boot_openwrt 'setenv bootargs; bootm 0xa1280000'

    -sh setenv: not found

The Busybox v1.17.4 (2018-05-09) built-in shell does not list a 'setenv' command other than 'set' and the others included below:

Built-in commands:

alias, bg, break, cd, chdir, continue, echo, eval, exit, export, false, fg, hash, help, jobs, kill, let, local, pwd, read, readonly, return, set, shift, source, test, times, trap, true, ulimit, umask, unalias, unset, wait.

To access the above list you simply type 'help' from within the:

AP3805i 10.41.07.2014 interactive shell for service personnel only

Not knowing an equivalent or alternative command to continue, I'm unable to proceed with OpenWrt installation!

U-Boot <> BusyBox, seems you're in the wrong place.

https://git.openwrt.org/?p=openwrt/openwrt.git;a=commit;h=f8c87aa2d27ab405f284dd4357377ab5c893a345

Where do I need to be after logging on? I have followed those instructions up to point 4.!!

The boot loader, post the boot sequence if you need further assistance.

I had a little trouble with Windows TFTP server and an old TP-link 100Mb Switch, for some reason, there was two processes running. In the end just used a cross-over cable which worked instantly. OpenWrt has been transferred and is installed successfully, albeit in 'System running in recovery (initramfs) mode'. I just need to know which is the best method or how to copy/transfer 'sysupgrade.bin' to the AP device!

Browser UL, scp, wget, pick your poison.

Yes, link talks about upgrading but it's still the same.

Success at last!! - all is good now. I would never have figured this out without your invaluable help frollic. Thank you!
