Serial Connection not working

Sorry if it's the wrong thread

I have a EasyBox 803A and I've tried using screen, minicom etc for the serial connection.
I've bought a USB to tty or what it's called.
It works with my 802 like it shows the boot thing

But on my 803A nothing happens
Nothing shows on the screen
I've checked my connections and such used different cables different layouts but none worked.

Pls help I've been trying everything for 2 weeks and nothing worked

Let's start with the full model name of the device so we can reference the installation instructions.

I assume you want to install OpenWrt on a supported model named "??? 803A"?

I see you edit your post.

Did you give the Linux user permissions to the DIALOUT user group?

First thing to check, power up the router just before plugging in the USB2serial adapter and starting screen. Many routers don't like the voltage bleed from the USB2serial adapter backfeeding into the SOC and getting into a weird undefined, state that prevents booting up.

If that isn't the case, check the traces in front of the serial port for missing components (0-ohm resistors/ solder-bridges) or something pulling the signals down to ground.

Yes since it works with my EasyBox 802
I had no issues there
Also I've stated that it's an EasyBox 803A

The Router boots up normally
But nothing happens in screen
I've tried many ways but nothing worked
