Selective routing for transmission client on openwrt

i want to use transmission installed on my router to use vpn configured on it, and rest of the traffic without vpn.

can someone suggest a guide please?

Do a search for policy based routing.
Basically you need to add a routing table, create a rule for the transmission to use the newly created routing table, and use the vpn as gateway for the newly created routing table.
