As the title says, selecting isolate clients in the Device Configuration isn't working for me. I can still SSH into other instances on the same subnet just fine when connected to the device in question.
This is my guest network, and I had originally set this up and thought it was working. I did recently upgrade to 24.10.0, so I don't know if that was the cause or if this really never worked. Any advice?
It just isolated wireless clients from each other but wireless clients can still access (layer2 and 3) a wired device. And the other way around.
If you need to isolate clients define one vlan per function (guest, iot, multimedia, ...) and put your devices in these.
IMHO wireless isolation does make only sense on guest wireless networks...
Ahh, thanks for that. This is on one of my APs, so it makese sense I can connect to other devices on the lan. And I did find this article as well, I just didn't think I had to do all of that with the client isolation setting.
