Secure Connection Failed

OpenWrt 22.03.2 r19803-9a599fee93 / LuCI openwrt-22.03 branch git-22.288.45147-96ec0cd

Hi,

I know my ISP works and old FreshTomato firmware works.
I installed openWRT today, and able to surf the web except that I can't reach duckduckgo.com though google.com works. I can't even search using mozilla's duckduckgo setting as it would return the below:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to duckduckgo.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

However, if I connect using my desktop's vpn, then i can search and reach duckduckgo.com, so no problem.

Fresh install, so no tinkering with menu. Has anyone seen this issue before?
I searched and my problem appears similar to this person below.

Did you make any changes to the configuration of OpenWrt (aside from enabling the wifi and setting an SSID + password)?
